Welcome to the Cattle Lameness Conference Homepage.
It is with great pleasure that we announce that the Cattle Lameness Conference will not be taking place in 2018.
Whilst that may seem like a strange thing to say, we are delighted to report that we no longer deem it necessary to hold an annual event. The Cattle Lameness Conference was established in 2009 as an independent, not-for-profit event to address what we perceived as a market failure at that time i.e. the lack of a regular, cross-industry forum to discuss lameness in cattle, with the objective of sharing best practice to create momentum for change on farm. In the intervening decade, the field has progressed rapidly. There are now a wealth of courses, conferences and other opportunities in the UK, which we commend to all our former delegates.
The Cattle Lameness Conference ethos is not dead. Whilst we believe the current annual format is now unnecessary, we will continue to scan for research breakthroughs and market deficiencies so we can address them with ad hoc events.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all our sponsors for making the conference possible over the last decade, our speakers for sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm and our delegates for being the heart of the event.
All Proceedings can be found at The {revious Proceedings page, which includes the sponsors for each conference.
